This month is what’s known as the month of love.
One of the most important ways we can show others we love them is by taking care of our health and promoting good health for each other.
During a pandemic, safeguarding your own health first means you are also safeguarding the health of your community. Self love and self care can then contribute to the safety and wellbeing of those around you.
Apart from our constant reminders to practice social distancing and to wear a mask in public I would like to remind each one to hold your health close to you this month.
While it may seem a lot of our attention has been given to major areas of distress and concern such as rebuilding after the hurricane, COVID prevention and mitigation, we must also not forget the other health issues at hand.
In addition to provisions for emergency care and relief goods, and free medicines at the RHU at the Municipal office we are continuing our programs for the following:
Free polio vaccinations for young children
Free minor surgeries, open to all Aliagenos
Free consultations for eye-related concerns
Let’s love each other and love ourselves.
Stay safe and stay healthy!
