To our community, as we begin 2021, one of the issues I would like to stress this year is to be guided by inclusivity and compassion for others. I believe the true measure of our success will not be how well the most fortunate are treated in our community, but rather the level of attention and support our community has for the most marginalized groups: for PWDs, seniors, and the most destitute.
My Dear Aliageños,
Happy New Year and welcome to 2021. Together we have survived the ups and downs of 2020, and we are still here.
First and foremost, I would like to thank the many brave frontiers and volunteers who helped to keep our community safe and healthy again. Your sacrifices and dedication are not unnoticed.

As I look around our municipality, I recognize there is still much work to be done. Indeed, our tiny community has been battered by typhoons and still faces a deadly pandemic. With the strength we find in each other and with your cooperation, my fellow Aliagenos, and in line with our efforts to provide greater social inclusivity, we at the municipality will be working this year to prioritize:
Greater access to basic medical care and support at our RHU
More local employment opportunities for our many hardworking and skilled Aliagenos
Greater access to inclusive and adequate livelihood programs
Better facilities and public infrastructure to ease the movement of trade and essential services around our municipality
God willing, we will continue to seek for the rightful approval of the Municipality's budget, in order to make these come true.
I know we have had our share of troubles and difficulties in the past year, but let us hold onto hope. As someone once said “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” And with these words it is my wish each and everyone finds encouragement and reason to hope for a better tomorrow and a better year ahead.
You can count on us to do everything in our power to make this happen. Until we do all that can be done, no backing down, and no giving up.
